Daikoku (大黒) was one of Nintendo’s budget brands of kabufuda, mushibana, and regional karuta decks.
It is named after Daikokuten (大黒天), one of the Seven Lucky Gods. He is depicted on the label.
It also shared the same price point as Hyaku-en, a hanafuda brand.
As a kabufuda and regional karuta brand, it ranks above Hi no De and below Daioh jirushi.
As a mushibana brand, it ranks above Daifuku and below Kikumaku.
It was known to be used during the 1920’s and 1930’s.
