Hi no De (日の出, 日乃出, or 日之出, lit ‘sunrise’) was one of Nintendo’s budget brands of hanafuda, kabufuda, mekurifuda, and other karuta decks.
It was the 16th highest-ranking brand in Nintendo’s hanafuda lineup, behind Hyaku-en and followed by Hana no Yama.
As a kabufuda and regional karuta brand, it ranks above Fuji and below Daikoku.
It is known to be used during the late 1920’s and 1930’s.
